At present, there are 84 faculty members in our school, including 10 administrators and 3 teaching assistants, among whom there are 3 professors, 20 associate professors and 56 lecturers. There is one teacher with a postdoctoral degree, 4 with doctoral degrees and more than 90% with master’s degrees. 4-6 foreign teachers are employed every year. With the growing number of faculty members, the School with a strong academic atmosphere has formed a reasonably-structured team of vigorous teaching staff with “the senior guiding the junior”, which provides a firm guarantee for teaching and research.

School of Foreign languages attaches great importance to staff training, sending teachers to excellent universities at home and abroad for further education every year. Some majors in school are preparing for cooperation with foreign universities.

In the long-term teaching practice, theSchoolofForeign Languageshas developed a good atmosphere of unity, diligence, preciseness and innovation. Under the guidance of the complete teaching theory system, great importance has been attached to mastering language knowledge and improving language skills and cultural awareness, in order to lay a good foundation for the students in the lower grades; and specialized English courses with professional characteristics are offered to senior students to ensure the continuous line of English learning during the university.
