Introduction to School Of Pharmacy

With  the  Department of pharmacy  founded in 2001 being its predecessor，School of Pharmacy was renamed in 2003 and is mainly engaged in the teaching and scientific study of  Rundefinedamp;D and application of medicine.

School of Pharmacy has 61 staff members, including 53 full-time teachers, 60.2% of whom are doctoral degree holders. It has 12 professors, 17 associate professors. There are 28 master’s supervisors. School of Pharmacy has a team composed of many renowned scholars, including National Renowned Teacher, Taishan Distinguished Professor (1), National Outstanding Teachers, State Council Expert for Special Allowance, Outstanding Young and Mid-Aged Expert of Shandong Province (1), Distinguished Teacher of Shandong Province (1) .More than ten people have academic positions in academic organizations throughout the country or in Shandong province.

Currently School of Pharmacy has 7 teaching and research sections and 1 comprehensive laboratory, Simulated trial base of GMP for Pharmaceutical Engineering ，Drug research and Evaluation Laboratory ，Institute of pharmacy, Institute of pharmaceutical technology, Institute of Pharmacology.

Over the years, School of Pharmacy has attached great importance to the research and reform in teaching. It has made numerous achievements in academic excellence, including teaching reform of state level, provincial and ministerial level and school level. Among 4 undergraduate programs (Pharmacy, Chinese traditional medicine , Pharmaceutical Preparation, clinical pharmacy), Pharmacy is awarded as National Characteristic Specialty . Pharmacology and Medicinal Chemistry are the key disciplines at the provincial level.The comprehensive laboratory has been established a provincial level Pharmacy Experimental and Teaching Demonstration Center.
