Abstract: Objective: To explore the effect of auricular point sticking combined with Traditional Chinese medicine on the curative effect and prognosis of pregnancy hypertension patients with phlegm dampness constitution, and to provide a theoretical basis for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of patients. Methods: Ninety-to cases of hypertensive patients with phlegm-dampness constitution during pregnancy admitted to our hospital from January 2018 to May 2019 were selected.The random number table method was used to divide into the conventional group (n=46) and the combined group (n=46).The patients in the routine group were treated with Traditional Chinese medicine combined with appropriate exercise and auxiliary drugs, and the combined group was treated with auricular point sticking on the basis of the conventional group.The quality of life, blood pressure, blood lipid level, and phlegm-dampness constitution of the two groups were compared before and after treatment. Results: After treatment, the emotional role, mental health, physical function, and mental health scores of patients in the combined group were [(80.97±5.10) points, (78.31±6.37) points, (76.25±7.57) points, and (73.48±6.23) points] , which were significantly higher than the conventional group [(74.55±5.09) points, (70.92±6.34) points, (65.38±7.52) points, and (65.79±6.22) points], and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); the systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, triglyceride and total cholesterol levels of patients in the combination group were [(101.40±6.80)mmHg, (60.90±7.42)mmHg, (1.75±0.22)mmol/L, and (5.01±0.26)mmol/ L], which were all significantly lower than[(108.20±7.70)mmHg, (67.65±7.43)mmHg, (2.01±0.23)mmol/L, and (5.39±0.27)mmol/L] in the conventional group and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); the sputum physique scores after 1 week of treatment in the combined group were [(20.05±3.77) points, (16.76±3.61) points, and (9.52±3.11) points], which were significantly lower than[(24.92±3.78) points, (19.80 ±3.62) points, and (13.86±3.12) points]in the conventional group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: Auricular point sticking combined with traditional Chinese medicine food therapy can effectively improve the quality of life of hypertensive patients with phlegm-dampness constitution during pregnancy, reduce their blood pressure and blood lipid levels, and improve their phlegm-dampness symptoms, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
