Abstract:Ezrin protein plays an important role in morphogenesis, motility, adhesion. Moreover, Ezrin protein participates in multiple steps of the process of tumor invasion and metastasis. In the progress of tumor metastasis, Ezrin protein is related to several signaling pathways such as Rho mediated signaling pathways, hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) pathways, Fas mediated cell apoptosis signaling pathways, phosphatidyl inositol 3-kinase (PI3K)-Akt pathways, and in which it plays different regulatory role.
