Recent studies reveal that IL6 may play an important role in constituting tumor microenvironment, activating related signal pathway, regulating downstream transcription factors, to affect the proliferation, invasion and metastasis of tumor cells. IL6 has important potential value in the targeted therapy for hepatocellular carcinoma.
