Recent studies reveal that IL6 may play an important role in constituting tumor microenvironment, activating related signal pathway, regulating downstream transcription factors, to affect the proliferation, invasion and metastasis of tumor cells. IL6 has important potential value in the targeted therapy for hepatocellular carcinoma.
