%A LIU Tao, REN Jing-Hua, WU Gang %T Follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and tumor angiogenesis %0 Journal Article %D 2011 %J Journal of International Oncology %R %P 572-574 %V 38 %N 8 %U {https://gjzlx.sdfmu.edu.cn/CN/abstract/article_8545.shtml} %8 2011-08-08 %X [Abstract] Follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) has been demonstrated to regulate the angiogenesis of ovarian cancer by modulating the expressing of some factors such as hypoxia induce factor-1 （HIF-1）、vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). Meanwhile, recently several studies reported that FSH may also impact the angiogenesis of other solid tumors like lung cancer. Thus, in this article we review the relationship between FSH and the angiogenesis process of solid tumors and conclude that FSH- FSHR could become a promising target for anti-angiogenesis therapy through further research.
