Researches reveal that pemetrexed enhances radiation-induced cell inactivation. A series of clinical trials of pemetrexed combined with radiotherapy for NSCLC also demonstrated that pemetrexed provides similar ef?cacy with lower toxicity and better tolerability than other third-generation chemotherapy drugs.
