It can not only negatively regulate the classical Wnt and Akt signal pathways which are associated with leukemia, but also positively regulate the NF-κB, non-classical Wnt and lysosomal apoptosis signal pathways, thereby regulating the proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis of leukemia cells. At present, a variety of GSK3β inhibitors and activators have been reported in the researches of leukemia, which play important roles in reducing theadverse reactionsof chemotherapy, reversing multidrug resistance and enhancing killing effect to leukemia cells. GSK3β is expected to become a target of leukemia molecular targeted therapy.
