Yboxbinding protein 1 (YB1) is a member of the coldshock protein superfamily, containing a structurally and functionally conserved cold shock domain. Studies indicate that YB1 can promote the occurrence and development of tumors by regulating EMT. In the process of EMT mediated by YB1, various transcription factors and signal pathways play important roles.
