In recent years, researches show that ERS exists in many kinds of tumor cells so as to play a number of roles in inducing cell apoptosis, autophagymediated apoptosis, immunogenic cell death, promoting tumor cell survival, regulating the cell cycle. So study on ERS is helpful to understand the development and the outcome of tumor.
