In recent years, researches show that ERS exists in many kinds of tumor cells so as to play a number of roles in inducing cell apoptosis, autophagymediated apoptosis, immunogenic cell death, promoting tumor cell survival, regulating the cell cycle. So study on ERS is helpful to understand the development and the outcome of tumor.
