Gross type is frequently massforming and a tubular adenocarcinoma is shown as the typical histopathological appearance. Surgical resection is the only curative treatment, and liver transplantation is selected for the patients with early ICC. Rediofrequency ablation, transcatheter arterial chemoembolization or molecular targeted therapies should be considered in the treatment of the unresectable or recurrent patients.
