科研方面：从事骨代谢学、骨免疫等方面的基础研究工作7年，主要研究方向是（1）氧化应激诱导细胞焦亡导致成骨功能障碍的发病机制；（2）牙周炎背景下调节性T细胞TH17-Treg偏移的调控机制；（3）抑癌因子影响口腔鳞状细胞癌生物学行为的机制；（4）正畸牙齿移动过程中骨改建的相关机制。目前已发表相关学术论文16篇，其中SCI收录论文16篇，累计影响因子达80.314分；单篇最高影响因子10.75分。指导大学生发表SCI论文2篇。主持山东省自然科学基金青年项目1项，参与国家自然科学基金面上项目2项、国家自然科学基金青年项目1项。
临床方面：从事正畸临床工作5年，熟练掌握儿童和成人牙颌畸形常见病和多发病的诊断和治疗，特别是在成年人上颌骨宽度发育不足的骨性扩弓治疗以及严重骨骼畸形的正畸-正颌联合治疗方面积累了一定经验。
