Abstract

Objective: To explore the clinical effect of endoscopic sinus surgery combined with drugs in the treatment of chronic sinusitis with nasal polyps. Methods: From March 2019 to March 2020, 63 patients with chronic sinusitis and nasal polyps in our hospital were selected as the research objects. According to the random number table method, the patients were randomly divided into control group (31 cases) and observation group (32 cases), in which the control group was treated with surgery alone, and the observation group was treated with surgery combined with drugs. The olfactory function of patients was analyzed and The complications and the total effective rate of treatment were compared between the two treatment modes. Results: The score of olfactory function in the observation group was lower than that in the control group ( P<0.05). The incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group ( P<0.05). The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group ( P<0.05).
