摘要:TC-1是由TC-1基因编码的核蛋白,能够调控细胞分裂周期,参与基因转录和翻译的调节,与正常细胞和肿瘤细胞的增殖有关。TC-1参与Wnt信号转导通路的激活,可以促进多种癌基因表达上调,与甲状腺癌、胃癌、乳腺癌等肿瘤的恶性转化和进展有关。TC-1作为一种潜在的肿瘤相关蛋白,将有望用于肿瘤的基础理论研究和基因靶向治疗。

Abstract:Thyroid cancer-1, a nuclear protein coded byTC-1(C8orf4), regulates the cell cycle, participates transcription and translation, and is correlated with the proliferation of normal and cancer cells. TC-1 participates in the Wnt/beta-catenin signaling pathway which can promote the up-regulation of proto-oncogene. Hence it plays an important role in the malignant tuansformation and development of the tumors, such as thyroid cancer, gastric cancer and breast cancer. Therefore, as a potential tumor-associated protein, it’s likely to be used for fundamental research and gene targeting therapy.
