Abstract:Aquaporin1 (AQP1) is a member of a family of specific channel proteins which could mediate the transbiofilm transportation of small molecules such as water. Recent studies have shown that AQP1 is highly expressed in cancer tissues. It also has an effect on the proliferation and migration of cancer cells, angiogenesis in cancer and so on. AQP1 is expected to be a marker of screening, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis at tumor early stage.
