Abstract:High grade glioma is a kind of malignant brain tumor with strong invasiveness, which progresses commonly after initial treatments and shows high mortality. Early diagnosis of tumor recurrence and highlyindividualized systemic treatment mean significance to prolong survival. Multimode magnetic resonance imaging and molecular imaging play important roles in differential diagnosis and prognosis evaluation for recurrence. Therapeutic strategies like reoperation, reirradiation, electric field technology, chemotherapy, targeted therapies and immunotherapeutic approaches are expected to bring survival benefits for patients with recurrent high grade glioma.
