Research progress of cancer metabolism

Abstract:Compared to normal counterparts, cancer cells exhibit metabolic changes owing to both genetic and epigenetic alterations. Some abnormal alterations happen in tumor cells including glycolysis, mitochondrial biogenesis, glutaminolysis and lipid synthesis. These metabolic changes have great significance to development of tumor and clinical targeted therapies.
