Abstract:Cancer stem cells located in specific microenvironment, that play an important role in the proliferation and metastasis of tumor cells. Hypoxia is one of the important features of tumor tissue microenvironment. A series of studies results show that the hypoxic microenvironment of tumor stem cells could promote tumor metastasis, which provides new clues for understanding tumor pathogenesis and tumors treatment.
