Abstract:Malignant melanoma is one of the malignant tumors in the skin, which has high invasiveness and stronger ability of metastasis. Its pathogenesis is related to the abnormal conduction of many signal pathways, while the specific mechanism is not completely clear. The abnormal activation of Notch signaling pathway is closely related to the pathogenesis of melanoma. Notch signaling pathway can promote the growth and metastasis of melanoma through maintaining the survival of tumor cells, promoting tumor angiogenesis and enhancing the adhesion and invasiveness of tumor cells. Further understanding of the mechanism of Notch signaling pathway may provide a new target for the treatment of melanoma.
