Abstract: Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy and complication rate of low temperature plasma radiofrequency ablation in the treatment of early glottic carcinoma. Methods: Eighty patients with early glottic carcinoma in our hospital from June 2018 to may 2020 were randomly selected and divided into observation group and control group according to different surgical methods, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with vertical hemilaryngectomy, and the observation group was treated with low-temperature plasma radiofrequency ablation. The clinical efficacy and the incidence of complications of the two groups were evaluated and compared; the preoperative and postoperative complications of the two groups were compared. The fundamental frequency perturbation (jitter), amplitude perturbation (shimmer) and harmonic to noise ratio (HNR) of the two groups were measured at 1 week and 1 month after treatment. Results: Compared with the control group, the operation time and hospitalization time of the observation group were shorter, and the intraoperative blood loss was less, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); the incidence of complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: Low temperature plasma radiofrequency ablation is effective for patients with early glottic carcinoma and it can improve the surgical effect, reduce the incidence of postoperative complications and improve the quality of life of patients.
